Cousin of E. P. Honan Dies Suddenly at Carroll County Home.

Attorney E. P. Honan was called to Delphi to attend the funeral Thursday of his cousin, Daniel Honan, a prominent farmer, whose home was near Ockley. Of his death the Delphi Journal says: Mr. Honan, while in his usual health, had suffered for some time from attacks of heart trouble, but his condition was not considered alarming up to the moment’of the fatal attack. Tuesday Mr. Honan had been engaged in husking corn and in the afternoon delivered a load of grain to the Ockley elevator, returning to his home a short time before supper, of which he ate heartily. After the evening meal Mr. Honan accompanied his wife dnd daughter to the barn to do the milking; he was calling a dog when his calls suddenly ceased. His lifeless body was discovered a few minutes later by members of the family. Daplel Honan was born In Fairfield, N. Y., on May 17, 1855. He came to this county when a young man and has since resided here. He was a man of splendid character and a good citizen. On April 29,1884, he was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Conway and as a result of the union six children were born, all of whom with their mother survive.
