Band Organization Progressing and Twenty-Five Members Assured.

Prof. Braun was in town again Monday night and met the boys who are to compose the band he is organizing. Twenty-five have been pledged to join and have been assigned the instruments the instructor considers them best able to play. Ten of the old band instruments were found available and suitable for use and fifteen new ones Will be required. Most of these will be purchased by the boys themselves, although some assistance may be required for the purchase of the more expensive ones. Prof. Braun will go to Chicago today and buy instruments for those who have paid for them. He gets the instruments at wholesale price and they are not expensive. Practice will be begun next Monday night. Any others who wish to join can apply to the instructor at that time. Prof. Braun has gone about the organization in a very business like manner and with the material at hand he should be able to develop a very good band by coiiCert season next summer, and the movement should have the encouragement of all of our citizens.
