Westfield Had Two Telephone Companies and Lots of Trouble.

Westville had two telephone companies. Merchants generally were compelled to have both phones, but the annoyance and unnecessary expense was too great to bear and so the merchants decided on & novel method of adjusting the telephone differences. They just kicked both phones out. All agreed simultaneously to stop both phones and in that way to force one company to buy the other out. Which is to buy the Qther is a stickler, but the merchants signed an agreement not to put either phone back until the companies have setteld their differences.
