Miss Lettaa Rees is working for TilQian Watson at Pleasant Grove. Thomas Kennedy spent Saturday night with Lloyd Bowman. Mrs. Harry Gifford is on the sick list. Mary Rees is working for Ase Elliott at Lewiston. Ed Oliver went to Illinois Saturday on a business trip. T. M. Callahan was a Pleasant Grove caller Friday on business. Ed Kennedy’s little daughter is on the sick list. Mrs. Ed Oliver is on the sick list at present. Sam Bowen is husking corn for Ed Randle at Pleasant Grove. Lola, you had better get home a little earlier on Sunday evening, you will get rained on. George Houser spent Wednesday night with his aunt, Mrs. Ed Oliver, of near Newland. Sam you had better get around a little earlier after this on Sunday afternoons. Floyd Tow and Lola Oliver spent Sunday with Letha, Mary and Ernest Rees. Ernest and Letha Rees called on Cttaude and Golda Bowman Wednesday evening. Newt Bowman and Ed Walker are helping to build a barn on the Jud Hunt place, near Medaryville. Sam Bowen and Art Kennedy and CSaud Bowman called on Ernest Rees Sunday afternoon. Belle thinks she will not go horse back riding anymore, she jumped so high .she let go of the horn of the saddle. Mrs. Guard, who has been visiting her two sons for a few days, has returned to her home in Delphi. Mrs. Wm. Kennedy and children accompanied her home for a few days’ visit Those that spent Saturday evening with John Bowen and family were: T. M. Callahan and family. Guy Beebe and family, Mrs. Ed Oliver and daughter Lola, Newt Bowman and family, Charley, George and Willie Martin, Letha, Ernest and Mary Rees, Thomas and Art Kennedy and Newt Kaupke. They were intertained by music on the organ, violin and guitar. All had an enjoyable time.
