Bruce Hardy, of Rensselaer, w r as over Sunday for a short visit with relatives. t Bert Brenner, wife and son, of Rensselaer, spent the day Sunday with relatives here. Lewis Shriver and Mrs. Hattie Barton were business visitors to Rensselaer Saturday. Miss Edna Long, who is clerking in the Murray store . at Rensselaer, visited over Sunday w r ith home folks north of town. Dr. J. T. Martin w 7 as over to his Illinois farm the latter part of the week to see how the Casto boys were getting along w r ith his tile ditching. Billy Martin, the one-time famous horse jockey, came last week for a visit with Jasper Wrights Billy has not been well for some time and is feeling quite poorly. He has not been able to work for several months. .Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burns went to Rensselaer Saturday, the former taking the train for Chalmers to visit his two sisters and families, w r hile the latter visited her relatives at Rensselaer. They returned home Mon r day.
