Obituary of Washington Stott Grant.
Washington Stott>Grant was born In Fleming county, Kentucky, October 25, 1825, and died November 10, 1909, aged 84 years and 15 days. When 8 years of age he removed with his parents to Wabash county, Ind., where he grew to manhood and where on August 22, 1847, he was married to Miss Louisa Hurley, who died November 0, 1906. They resided in Wabash county three years after their marriage and came to Jaßper county in 1850, and resided here pntil his death. To them were bern ninfe children, six of whom survive, viz: Mrs. Josie Hann, of Chicago; Harvey and Roll Grant and Mrs. Della Nelson, of Rensselaer; Will Grant," of Fort Worth, Texas, and Warner Grant, of California. There are also 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two brothers, Shelby and Alton Grant, and twh sisters, Mrs. Ruth Phillips and Mrs. Norman Warner, also survive.
