Jas. Hainford is moving into the Claude Sigler house. C. J. and Mrs. Hobbs spent Sunday with home folks at Hebron. Mrs. P. A. Lafond spent part of last week visiting friends in Kankakee. C. E. Kersey loaded a car of corn and shipped it to Rensselaer Monday. Miss Pauline Lewis has been confined to Jier home with tonsillitis the past week.- ' Mrs. Kerger waß down from Hanmond Saturday and spent the day with Mrs. Lafond. * j Col. Gifford washout and went over his road Tuesday. He reports many land sales recently. F, E. Lewis attended a meeting of the railroad superintendents of Indiana before the Indiana Railroad Commission, at Indianapolis, Wednesday. Mrs. F. M. Brown went to Foresman Friday to spend a few days with her son and daughter. She has been in very poor health for some time with heart trouble. Lewis Harrington, formerly agent at Zadoc, has been promoted to general freight agent for the C. & W. V. Ry. Mr. Kerger has resigned to accept a position in Chicago.
