Three Townships In Carroll County Vote Railroad Subsidies.

Carroll county has a number of railroads, and the city of Delphi has two steam roads and one electric line, but they want more and are so anxious for them that they do not hesitate to vote a subsidy to aid in their construction. Tuesday three townships, Burlington, Monroe and Deer Creek, all voted on a proposition to aid a road being promoted by Will R. White, and all returned a favorable vote in favor of aiding the roads. Some may argue that the principle is not right, but it la the only way of getting railroads.
