Mrs. Earl Barkley Dies After a Brief Illness.

Mrs. Earl Barkley died this Thursday morning at 9:30 o’clock, after a brief illness. Deceased was formerly Miss Irene Lanham, and a daughter of'Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Lanham, who lives south of town. She was married about two years ago and for some time herself and husband lived in Rensselaer but for the past few months they have resided on the Jas. JTanner place at Valma, in Barkley township, near the Barkley farm. Death was due to Brights disease, which caused convulsions. The funeral arrangements had not been completed when the Republican went to press.
