EPWORTH LEAGUE DECIDES TO HAVE A LECTURE COURSE.
Will Hold a Jive Number Course and Hope To Secure Attractions That Will Be Especially Worthy. The Epworth League of the M. E. church has decided to conduct a lecture course the coming winter and will probably hold the first of the five numbers in Nqjjpmber. It Is planned to have one impersonator, one humorist, one lecturer and two concert companies. The movement is very timely, as Rensselaer had no course last year. The entertainments are educating, refining and entertaining. The lecture committee appointed consists of Mrs; J. D. Allman, Mrs. Ernest Tillman and Mr. Ross Dean. The cost of the course will probably be less than of previous ones but the quality in no way cheapened. The course will be advertised in the Republican.
