Two Hoosiers Are Among Lucky Ones At Land Drawing.
Jasper county people who registered for the big land drawing at Aberdeen, S. Dak., do not seem to have secured anything, but two Hoosiers were among the lucky ones. William J. Engle, of Butte, Neb., gets first choice; Albert Ott, of Marshfield, Ind., gets sixth choice and Conrad Sipe, of Saratoga, Ind., gets eleventh choice. More than 81,000 had registered for the drawing, and the event was in the way of festive affair, addresses being delivered by prominent business men. Two little girls drew the envelopes.
