RECKLESS PLAT RESULTS IN A BROKEN ABM.

Son of Ed Hopkins Victim of Rough Play By Other and'Larger-Boys At the School House. Ernest Hopkins, assistant janitor at the school house, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hopkins, 13 years of age, suffered a bad fracture and dislocation of his right arm at the school house this Friday morning. Thoughtless but exceedingly rough play by other and larger boys was responsible for the injury. , . Some of the boys had a Jong pole containing a number of brushy limbs and they would run up behind some unsuspecting playfellow and upset him. Ernest was caught in this manner and was lifted off the ground when struck and alighted on his right arm, which was dislocated at the elbow and the ball of the ulna was broken ofT. He was gathered up by some larger boys and taken to a doctor’s office where the wounded member was set. He was later taken to his home and will be laid up for some time.
