Men’s Movement Inaugurated In the Methodist Church.
The Methodist brotherhood movement has been started by Rev. C. L. Harper in the Trinity M. E. church, and an organization was affected Sunday with the selection of I. N. Warren, president; J. K. Davis, Chas. Battleday, Dr. F. A. Turfler and J. D. Allman, vice-presidents; J. Frank Osborne, secretary, and Dr. H. L. Brown, treasurer. The object of the movement is to create an interest among the men of the church, promote sociability and to engage in the support of all good works. It is probable that Friday nights will be selected as the- best time for holding the meetings. . It will "more than pay you for your time to read our large advertisement in this paper.
