GRANDMOTHER ANTRIM KEEPS OPEN HOUSE.
Celebrates Her 93d Birthday At Home of Her Daughter and Receives Many Pleasant Calls. Mrs. Lucinda W. Antrim, familiarly called “Grandmother” Antrim, was 93 years of age Friday, October 15 th, and her son, Frazier, was down from Hebron, her brother, R. L. P. Massey, of Medaryville, and his wife and a greatgranddaughter, Miss Pearl Hardesty, also of Medaryville, were guests. All day long, however, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rachel Scott, there
were visitors who called to pay their respects to this interesting nonagenarian. ■ “Grandmother” Antrim was kept busy during the day looking over the even hundred postal cards that came in from various sources, and as she read ehch one she beamed with pleasure and was proud to think that so many had remembered her. Her brother, R. L. P. Massey, was 74 years of age in August, and is called the “kid” by his aged sister. Mrs. Antrim is now enjoying excellent health, retires regularly at eight o’clock at night and gets up early every morning. She is now the oldest person residing in Marion township.
