Mrs. Samuel Pass Died at Home Near Medaryville.

Mrs. Samuel Pass, formerly of this county, died .Monday afternoon or night at her home near Madearyville. When her son, Jasper Pass, and wife, of Jordan township, were called to her bedside Monday, they did not know the cause of her sickness, having simply been advised that it was blood poisoning. It is reported today, Tuesday, however, that death was the result of hydrophobia caused by her having been bitten by a dog that had the rabies. It is also reported that two other women had been bitten by the same dog and had been taken to New York City for treatment in the Pasteur Institute. The Republican was unable to get into communication with members of the family to verify the report;
