Weather Too Bad For the S. R. Nichols Stock Sale.

8. ,R. Nichols was compelled to call off his big stock sale advertised for Monday, owing to the inclement weather. He had his stock all in fine shape and it was a good lot of cattle that was to be offered, but the cold, rainy weather kept the crowd away and not very many assembled at the farm and no stock was offered. However, he sold one or two car loads to purchasers that had come from some distance, at private sale.
