GASOLINE ACCIDENT AND A LUCKY ESCAPE.
Mrs. Frank Floyd Slightly Burned When Gasoline Used In Washing Caught .Fire Tuesday.
Mrs. Frank Floyd, who lives just west of the Church of God, had a fortunate escape from serious injury Tuesday, and it is likewise fortunate for her three children. She was washing clothes and had put some gasoline into the boiler. It caught fire and was blazing out of "the top of the boiler. Fearing that the house would catch fire she took hold of the boiler and ran to the door with it and in throwing it out narrowly missed throwing it on her three children who were playing in the yard. The blaze set fire to her hair and badly burned it, also her eyebrows, while both her arms were burned considerably. Mrs. J. F. Irwin, a neighbor, responded to a call for help, and succeeded in putting tfie blaze out before the fire communicated to the building.
