Barkley Township Young Men Return From Dakota Trip.

Herbert and Roland Eib' returned Sunday evening from a two weeks’ trip to the Dakotas. They visited their sister, Mrs. George Wright, in Trail county, and found crops there to be very fine. Mr. Wright has 700 acres of land and had lots of good wheat, rye and barley and some firstclass corn, samples of which the young men brought home with them. They stopped off at Mitchell, S. Dak., for two days, getting there during the progress of their fall corn jubilee, and they saw the famous Mitchell corn palace. They visits with former Jasper county people, seeing Sam Parker and family, Fritz Zard, Frank Kenton and others. They also brought home some Mitchell corn sainples, and some fine apples grown there. They were so well pleased that Herbert is thinking some of returning there later and making an investment. The trip was a.very pleasant one and they were glad to see the former Jasperites all prosperous and happy.
