“Vanda Enos and Her Girls.”
Musical circles are astir over the announcement that “Vanda Enos and Her Girls’’ are to appear at the opera house Monday, October 4th, and those who have been contending that the future of the city was extremely birght, point to the fact that the ae-* curing of this attraction marks the beginning of the new epoch. “Vanda Enos and Her Girls’’ is » big city attraction. It is unusual and remarkable in the annals of amusements when she appears in a town of this size, and the local manager is to be congratulated for his enterprise in bringing such a meritorious company to this city. The Detroit Free Press, in speaking of Miss Enos, says: “Her violin solos were enthusiastically received and she was recalled time and time again amid applause.” The Brooklyn Sentinel pronounces her playing “facinating and delightful.” The Toledo Bl,ade says she was “on the program for two numbers but was compelled to give. six.” There are hundreds of press clippings from newspapers of equal prominence which brings the assurance that the attraction is just as it is represented. The local manager has been assured time and time again since the attraction was booked, that the company is one of unusual merit, and Miss Enos the most wonderful violin player in the world. See Mrd.
