FANS, GET READY; OXFORD IS COMING.

Wrens and Oxford Are To Play TWo More Games, the First To Be~y Here Sunday, Sept. 26th. The fanatics will probably be out in great numbers next Sunday, for what looks like the best contest of the season will be pulled off at Riverside park. Oxford will be here to convince the public that they have it a few points over the Wrens and the Wrens will be there to show Oxford that they are mistaken.

Lou Jensen and his brother Tommy went through Rensselaer Sunday en route to Wheatfield to spend the day with their parents and they were both pleased to state that their manager was ready to meet the Wrens on the Rensselaer grounds. Manager Harmon called up the Oxford manager by phone and was informed that they would come here next Sunday on the condition that Rensselaer would come there the following Sunday. Both games are to be played for the gate receipts, the winners to receive 60 and the lossers 40 per cent. Jensen will pitch for the visitors and Hanks for the locals. The management needs all the money it can get and the women will not be admitted free. The game will be called at 2:30 o’olock.
