Rensselaer nimrods are getting some very good fishing these days from * the Iroquois. Landy Magee caught a salmon Tuesday that weighed 8% pounds, also two bask weighing 2 and 3*4 pounds respectively. Nattie Scott also caught a salmon and Floyd Phillips has been catching both kinds. J. H. S. Ellis has also caught a few and W. F. Powers is getting several. The banks of the old river will be lined for the next few days with disciples of Isak Walton, it is probable when the news of the local successes is noised about.
