Commencing September 14th

In December, 1908, less than nine months ago, I bought the Jay W. Williams Furniture Store, which was one of the largest and best assorted furniture stocks in Northern Indiana. Later I purchased the Starr Building and moved into it, but the three floors would not accommodate the large stock and I have been crowded —too crowded to display the stock to advantage, and this fact, coupled with the more important one that 1 must have the money, has decided me to hold a genuine Auction Sale. To this'end, I have placed a large stock in the Nowels Block, which lam going to sell without reserve and without regard to price to the highest bidder. The reasons for this sale are certainly sufficient— I Need the Room - I Need the Money I want every person in Jasper County and Newton County, and -every family living within trading distance of Rensselaer, to come in and get part of this great sacrifice on first-class and brand new furniture. -. » * , . 1 — 1 : ? ■ ’ ——-_i ... - . —— ’ * “ : ‘ ; ' ' ' Auction will begin daily at 2:30 d’clock, commencing with TUESDAY, Sept. 14th, and every afternoon until and including Sept. 18th. This is all New Stock, not a second-hand piece in the store, and it will all go under the auctioneer’s hammer, and if you need any article of furniture you can not afford to miss this sale. This is no closing-out sale, for lam permanently established in the furniture business in Rensselaer, and want you to always come to my store for your furniture needs. I want to get acquainted, well acquainted with you, and you will find that I always have the most up-to-date stock. You are invited to visit my main store while this sale is on, and you will find that in every respect the stock and the price is worthy your business. This sale is made to permit the better arrangement of my store and to make room for the new fall stock and because I need the money. Remember the sale days, September 14 to 18th inclusive.
