Big Rain Storms In Central Indiana Thursday Afternoon.
Kokomo, Anderson and Noblesville were visited by extremely heavy rains Friday afternoon. The storm was accompanied by electrical disturbances that did considerable damage. At Kokomo and Anderson the streets were flooded, the sewers proving Inadequate to carry away the accumulation of water. At Anderson the press loom of the Bulletin office had two feet of water in it, while electric and telephone wires were down. Several barns were burned near Noblesville, the heavy wind blew corn over, and White river overflowed its banks in some places.
