George Long’s Operation Was Successfully Performed.

The operation which George Long underwent for appendicitis Thursday at the Presbyterian hospital in Chicago, was entirely successful and it is thought George will be able to return home in about eight days. The appendix was somewhat inflamed as a result of the recent attack which he had. The local family physician and the parents of the young man were at the hospital when the operation was performed, and Mrs. Long will remain there until the patient is able to return home.
