Flossy Gundy is visiting in Monon this week. Frank McColley is repairing Chas. Gundie’s house. 'fhree of M. D. Carr’s children are down sick with a fever, The Shultz threshing outfit sold out the first of the week to Lacons & Co. Mrs. Manderville is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Odel, in the country this week. Mrs. Stella Shehen and children, of Lafayette, visited over Sunday with Isaac Right. Mrs. Keene and daughter, Neva, of near Indianapolis, is visiting friends here this week. James McColly has gone to Kansas City after his brother, Ed, who is in very poor health. Miss Neva Carder, of Flora, has returned home, after a two months’ stay in Fair Oaks. Orval Bringel has returned from Terre Haute, where he has been attending school all summer. Charles Woolf and wife, Of Peru, are visiting his sister, Mrs. Jdhn Casey, and family this week. Loyd Williams and Floyd Cox started for North Dakota Tuesday, where they will work through the threshing season. School begins here September J9th with Frank Garriott probably as.principal. We have not learned who the other teachers will be.
