Charley Jacks is sick at this writing. 0. E. Noland has lost one of his colts. W. L. Stiers was a Rensselaer goer Monday. James H. Culp went to Rensselaer Tuesday. • Worth Parker is visiting friends and relatives here. Carl Wastphal and James Culp threshed Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jacks went to Monon Saturday. Several of the young folks went to Fountain Park Sunday. Gladice Clark has been bad sick but is better at this writing. 0. A. Jacks and family spent Sunday with S. M. Jacks and family. Grandma Mellender is still very poorly. A niece is taking care of her. A large erowd was at Uncle David Culp’s Thursday at the Culp reunion. F. L. Overton’s baby has been very sick, but is better at this writing. Susie Fisher returned home Monday morning. Her mother went with her. Mr. and Mrs. Hoy Rishling and family visited Grandma Mellender Sunday. Orville Holeman and Cassie Holeman, of Monticello, came Friday to Mrs. Holeman’s. Mr. Anderson and Miss Ophal Ward, of Monon, attended League at Lee Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Lefler and Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Jacks visited Joe Clark and family Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Lewis went to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sparling, of DeMotte, Tuesday. Grace Osborne, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Stiers, returned home Monday. North Parker and James Overton took dinner with Mrs. Ann Rishling Monday. They also called on Clyde' Randle. Mrs. Cal Ward and daughter, Ophal, who had been visiting Mrs. Run Rishling for a few days, returned home Monday. Mrs. John Osborne returned homo Monday, after a few days’ visit with her mother, Grandma Mellender/* who is still sick. J. H. Culp and family, O. A. Jacks and family and Dora Jacks and son Oscar went to Monon and took the train to Michigan City Thursday, where they enjoyed a good time.
