Scarcity of Teachers For Jasper County Schools.

County Superintendent Lamson reports that there is a scarcity of resident teachers for the schools of the county and that he has been forced to go elsewhere to get instructors. He is making an effort to get as many male teachers ns possible, but there also seems to be a shortage of young men teachers. The Rensselaer city schools and the Remington town schools will open on September 6th, and nearly all the country schools will open September 13th.
