Teachers Have Now Been Secured For All Positions.
City School Superintendent I. N. Warren, acting with the school board, has filled the vacancies in the corps of city teachers, and all is now ready for the opening of the schools on September 6th.
The position of instructor in botany and zoology, formerly held by Prof. Tillman, will be filled by Mr. Harry O. Lanning, of Mill Grove, Ind., who has had five or six years teaching ex-
perience and who is a graduate of the state normal school. The successor of Miss Queen Perry will be Miss Irene Trenberth, of Isheming, Mich., who has also been a teacher for the past six years, and who during the past summer attended the Chicago Summer School of Music. She will supervfse the music and drawing instruction of the entire school. Most of the teachers ttys year are the same as last and the newly recruited ones are believed to be especially able, thus assuring a successful school year.
