Meeting of the City Council Monday Night.
The city council met Monday evening with all members present. Plans and specifications were adopted for the improvement of Washington street from Cullen street t to the east end.
Ordinance No. 123 providing for the cutting of weeds was passed to second reading. ~ ' ■ E. M. Thomas, night watch, asked for a week’s vacation with pay. The application was denied, Irvin and Spitler voting for and Brown, Gerber and Meyers against. The following claims were allowed: —Corporation Fund — W. S. Parks, marshal $30.00 E. M.
