Children Nuisance at Post Office To Be Broken Up.
Postmaster Murray has found it necessary to limit the calls of children at the postoffice during the school term. Answering the inquiries of two or three hundred school children four times a day is a great strain on the patience of the clerks, as well as taking up their time unnecessarily, as about three-fourths of the children go to the office without the knowledge or consent of their parents. Many of the children carry mail to school and either leave it in their desks or trouble the teachers with it, causing additional worry for the postmaster. Parents are requested to co-operate with the postmaster in this matter by not permitting their, children to call at the postoffice unless it is absolutely unavoidable.
