Gasoline Stove Explosion Causes Slight Fire Damage.
The fire department was called out at about 9 o’clock this Wednesday morning to answer an alarm from fire plug 38. The fire proved to be of small proportions and was conquered before the company arrived on the scene. A gasoline stove explosion set fire to the wall paper in the house occupied by Chris Koepkey and family and belonging to Mrs. J. T. Randle, at the corner of Forest and Vine streets, west of Gwin’s lumber yard. Mrs. Koepkey ejected the stove and put out the fire with but slight damage to the wajj paper of the kitchen.
