Miss Barnhardt, the Singer, to Enter Vaudeville.

Lillian Barnhardt, the singer who has entertained the audiences at the Princess several time? recently, is to enter vaudeville. The Lafayette Courier says: “Lillian Barnhardt, the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Barnhardt, has been engaged by Samuel Blair, owner of the Pony Boy and Girls act, playing this week at’ the Family theatre. The act requires six girls and Miss Barnhardt will take a boy’s part. One of the girls resigned last week in Chicago and Mrs. Blair has been taking the part until another actress could be secured. Lillian Barnhardt has a sweet voice and has appeared several times on the amateur bill at the Family theater. She has also appeared on amateur nights at Logansport, Rensselaer and other places. She, is talented and takes tc the stage naturally. She is rehearsing her part in the act every morning and afternoon now under the direction of Mr. Blair. In a few days she will be ready to assume the part assigned to her.”
