The K. of P. Picnic a Very Successful Affair.

The K. of P. annual picnic at the Rensselaer stock farm Friday Was a delightful affair. After, a basket dinner contests of various kinds took place. Two ball teams were organized, one captained by Jud Moore and the other by Jesse Allman. Allman’s team won by a score of 11 to 8. Prizes were awarded in the different events as follows:

Ball throw, married ladies, comb and barette, Mrs. J. P. Hammond. Ball throw, single ladies, hat pin, Maurine Tuteur.

Foot race, married ladies, coffee pot, Mrs. Harry Kresler. Foot race, single ladies, cream and sugar, Belle Laßue. Foot race, married men, box of cigars, True Woodworth.

Foot race, single men, pocket knife, Rue Parcells. Affinity race, married, hand mirror, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Warner. Affinity race, single, lady, china plate, Fannie Pprter; gentleman, stick pin, Vaughn Woodworth. Potato race, boys under 12, base ball, Ameil Hanley. Three legged race, boys, two pair socks, Fred Hamilton and Phillip Hanley, of Chicago. Peanut race, girls under 10, doll, Thelma Tilton. Boys’ foot race, 12 to 16 years, cuff buttons, Cope Hanley.
