French Lick Gamblers Agree To Plead Guilty to Charges.
It is announced that at the request of Gov. Marshall for a settlement of some kind so as to save the state expense in payihg rental on the equipment taken in the famous French Lick resort gambling places during the prosecution started under former Gov. Hanly, Attorney General Bingham has conferred with the defendants and they have agreed to plead guilty to the charges and submit the matter as to the confiscation of the property, the estimated value of which is several thousands of dollars. It Is agreed that no prosecution is to be brought against any of the employes of the French Lick gambling places.
