Oxford Will Not Play the Wrens at Remington.

Oxford replied to the challenge, of the Wrens Tuesday for a game at Remington for a purse of SIOO and gate receipts, but as expected they made conditions that will not be.accepted by the Wrens. They offer to play the game for the purse mentioned if the game is played at Sheldon, 111., of Lafayette. The Wrens will not agree to this condition, as they feel that they can secure fair treatment at Remington and are sure of getting a large crowd there from Rensselaer and other points, which will make the receipts worth playing' for.
