Mr. Gilmore, the owner of the dredge that was partially blown up yvith dynamite last week, was in the city Friday looking up evidence that would tend to locate the guilty parties. Mr. Gilmore suspicions certain parties living in that vicinity. A day or two before the dredge was blown up two young fellows were in Fendig’s drug store and purchased a harp. The day after the explosion a harp box was found near the dredge. Mr. Fendig was pot acquainted with the purchasers of the harp, but was able to give a description of them, and this answers to the description of the young fellows under suspicion. Mr. Gilmore is determined, if possible, to punish those guilty of the malicious destruction of his property, and will use every effort to discover their identity.
