Sad Death of the Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Alter.
The 15-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Alter, former residents of north of town, was instantly killed at their home in Forest last Friday. The boy was driving a team hitched to a load of coal, and the wagon striking a rut in the road, threw the boy off. The wheels passed over his head, crushing in the skull and killing him instantly. This is the second accidental death in the family. Five years ago another son met a violent death. He was driving a hay rake, and the horses ran away, throwing him in front of the rake teeth. His body was badly mutilated and he survived but a few minutes. Mr. and Mrs. Aler have the sympathy of their friends here in their bereavement.
