Trinity Quarterly Conference.

Rev. A. T. Briggs, superintendent of Hammond District, will hold the fourth quarterly conference of Trinity M- E. church on Wednesday evening of this week. The service will open at 8 o’clock with a short preaching service, the quarterly conference following. All the officers of the church especially urged to be present at the quarterly conference. Articles of agreement for a fight between Jack Johnson and James J. ■'Jeffries for the heavyweight championship of the world were signed in Chicago Thursday.
