A Short Meeting of the City Fathers Monday Evening.

The city fathers held a short meeting Monday evening. All members were present except Councilman Irwin. The city attorney was instructed to prepare a resolution for the extension of the Division and Scott Streets sewer to the new river channel, the property owners to pay the cost of the extension. This sewer was built before the river was dredged and now empties into the old channel, where there is no way to carry off the sewerage, making conditions very unhealthy in that vicinity.
