Reunion of the Baughman Family at Medaryville.
Medaryville Advertiser. The hospitable country home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gardner, five miles southeast of Francesville, last Sunday was the scene of the family reunion of the children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren of Mrs. Henry M. Baughman, of Monon. The gathering . was in recognition of the 72nd birthday of Mrs. Baughman, which occurred on that day, and the 78th birthday of Mr. Baughman, which came on July 28th. Besides Mr. and Mrs. Baughman, eight of their married children and their families were present. Among them were: Messrs, and Mesdames James E. Low and family, Medaryville; J. W. Russell and family, Monon; F. D. Baughman and family and Lee G. Baughman and family, Medaryville; U. M. Baughman and family, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Jesse A. Snyder, of Rensselaer; Frank Gardner and family; also Mrs. M. F. Regan and Mr. and Mrs. O. N. Berry. A sumptuous dinner was served under the large maples of the Gardner home and in the evening all partook of a three-course luncheon before departing. All present and a host of friends wished the aged parents many returns of such a pleasant and enjoyable anniversary.

George Robinson, who received severe injuries by falling from an electric light pole at Connersville some weeks ago after coming in contact with a live wire, shows but little signs of improvement and his relatives here are uneasy over his condition. He is partially paralyzed and is unable to leave his bed. Representative Crum packer has recommended Frank H. Doran, of Michigan City, for census supervisor of the tenth congressional district. Mr. Doran has been auditor of Laporte county and was a candidate for the republican nomination for auditor of state in the campaign of IMS and ISO*. . ยป The Republican is headquarters for fine job printing.
