Ed Oliver called on Wm. Rees Sunday morning. Art Kennedy spent Sunday with Everett Walker. Judge Zook called on Wm. Rees Sunday morning. Lola Oliver spent Sunday afternoon with Mary Rees. George Gorbet spent Sunday with home folks, near McCoysburg. J6hn Bowen and John Marion went up near Laura Saturday to fix a well. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Snider went fishing out east of Newland Saturday evening. Mrs/ Silas Toombs spent. Saturday afternoon with Mrs. T. M. Callahan and children. Letha Rees spent Saturday night and Sunday with her parents, Wm. Rees and family. Charley Casto, of Alt. Ayr, spent Thursday and Friday with John Bowen and family. Floyd Tow, who is workipg for Ed Oliver, spent Sunday with his parents near Wolcott. Mrs. John Bowen and daughters, Zella, and Mary Rees spent Saturday afternoon with Mrs. W. S. Breese. Newt Bowman and two sons called on E. Kennedy Saturday afternoon, who has been pretty poorly for several days, but is improving slowly. Bill Steel and a couple of Newland, girls, Annie and Mattie Anderson, were out buggy riding Sunday. They were driving so fast that Bill had lost his hat. .
