What It Costs to Keep the Poor of Jasper County.
The Indiana Bulletin of Charities and Correction just from the press shows the cost of keeping the poor of Jasper county for the six months ending March 31st to be $2,010.16. Milroy is the only township in which no aid was given. The receipts from the farm for the same period amounted to $2,666.54. There was expended on the farm in permanent improvements $1,762.57.
