Two Barns Destreyed By Fire On Lawler Brothers’ Farm.
The two barns on the Lawler Bros.* farm near Pleasant Ridge were destroyed by fire last night. The farm is run by John Reed. There was no sign of fire when the family retired and the origin of the fire is a mystery. The fire was discovered about eleven o’clock by a neighbor and by that time the walls were ready to fall in. The loss was about 13,000, with insurance of $1,200. The property destroyed was twd barns, a carpenter shop, two horses, three new binders, a new hay loader, carriage, buggy, five sets of harness, ten extra collars, carpenter and blacksmith tools, five breaking plows, corn planter, 75 bushels of grain, five tons of hay and other property.
