Monon Puts Two New Up-to-Date Coaches In Service.
The Monon has received two of its new coaches from the car shops in Jeffersonville. The coaches are up-to-date In every respect, with electric lights and electric fans. The coaches are at present on the IndianapolisLoulsville division. As soon as the other coaches ordered are finished it is quite likely that one will be used on the Michigan City run.,
1 The wheels of the proposed automobile factory are still moving right along. Nearly $15,000 has been subscribed and the committee are around to see the people who will help In the enterprise. They have been busy getting prices on parts of machinery, etc., during the week, and it is probable that ln*the next ten days they will be ready to order parts and material to complete the first machine. The way it looks at present it 1b probable that by the time they are ready to build the first machine the full $25,000 will be subscribed, Instead of the expected SIO,OOO. When everything is figured down to a point where the work will commence it will move along rapidly.—Brook Reporter.
