Lots of Booze at the Fair Oaks Celebration.
It is reported that there were wagon loads of booze on sale at the Fair Oaks celebration Saturday, and a number of fights was the result. A Fourth of July celebration at Fair Oaks without the illegal sale of liquor seems impossible. In times past there has been fines assessed foil the illegal sale of liquor there at Fourth of July celebrations, but thin does not seem to stop the practice. The culprits are generally from Newton or Lake counties, who drive in with a load of liquor and make theirselves scarce as soon as the load is disposed of.
