City Council Meets—But Little Business Transacted.

The city council had a short meeting Monday evening. All members were present except C. G. Spitler. The light superintendent was instructed to exchange the old light transformers for new ones, the city to pay the difference. Treasurer Leopold was instructed to look up the record on Grace street and find width of same and report to the city engineer. The city attorney was instructed to prepare a resolution for sidewalk on the south side of blocks 42 and 43, in Weston’s addition and block 16, in Leopold’s addition, on the west side of blocks.

The city marshal was instructed to notify Mrs. W. H. Eger to put in sidewalk on Cedar street within two weeks or same will be advertised and sold.
