Everybody is talking oil at Royal Center now, its in the air and that’s nq joke either. You can smell it for miles. But no one is kicking. About twenty more oil men “blew” in last night and this morning, and that has a tendency to make people feel that there is something doing. The Standard branch has about 15,000 acres leased —and all the other fellows have been having a “dip” in the leasing proposition, so there are very few farms that are not leased at the present time. The nitroglycerine outfit is expected from Warren today or tomorrow to shoot the Feltis well —Logansport Reporter.
