Lightning Struck Alf Donnelly’s Onion House.

During the rain storm this, Thursday, morning lightning struck Alf Donnelly’s large onion house north of town, damaging it considerably. The house is 200 feet long and the lightning struck it near the center. The shingles were stripped from that part of the building and the lightning traveled, down the sides of the building into the ground. The building was empty and the loss will not be large. Two barns were destroyed last night near Delphi, causing considerable loss. One belonged to Joe Sims and the other to J. H. Cartwright.
