Rewards for Auto Racers; Buick Co. to Divide $1O,OOO.

Appreciating the victory of Louis Chevrolet in a Buick car in the Cobe trophy road race Saturday, William J. Mead, an official of the company, has announced that SIO,OOO has been appropriated by the company to be equally divided among the three drivers in the contest. These drivers are Chevrolet, Lewis Strang and Robert Burman, who piloted, the Buicks in the Crown Point classics. This reward •is said to be the largest ever given drivers in any road or track race in America by a manufacturer. Burman of the team races at Montreal on July 9 and 10, while Strang and Chevrolet will take part in track races at Columbus, Ohio* July 2 and 3.
