K. O. K. A.’s Defeat the Monon A. B. C.’s 14 to 1.

Thursday the K."O. K. A. ball team journeyed to Monon to play a return game with the A. B. C.’s of that town. The K. O. K. A.’s ran around the bases at a faster clip than the autos have been going on the race course in Lake county. They made 14 laps to the A. B. C.’s one. The K. O. K. A-’s played some clever ball, pulling off some stunts that Monon never heard of before. The Knights looked mighty fine in their brand new uniforms, in fact they made quite a hit with the MOnon fair damsels. Harold Clark was the slab artist for the Knights, getting three singles and one double hit, and Hanly played a good game at first, stopping some pretty high ones. The Knights all played good hall, having but three errors chalked np against them. In the absence of Rev. Parrett the team was accompanied by Perry Gwin, who umpired the game: - The line up wastes follows: Rensselaer—E. <Moow, 2b; Howard Clark; 3b; Padgett, c; Hanly, lb; Harold Clark, ss-p; Robinson, p-sb; Hamilton, rs; Hammond, cf; York, if.
